Welcome to Paradise Sound

Located in Index, Washington, just an hour from Seattle, Paradise Sound is a beautiful mountain resort recording facility.

Both the studio and control room were designed by internationally acclaimed acoustician Chips Davis and will provide the ideal environment for creative excellence.

Our Facility

Our state-of-the-art recording facility is comprised of 1 control room, 1 main room, and 4 additional isolation rooms.

Control Room – 24 X 23 X 13 Feet

Accurate frequency response and stereo imaging is essential in the mixing process. The most critical of the rooms, our control room, was plotted out using a digital transit and constructed to the nearest 16th of an inch. Both the studio and control room were designed by internationally acclaimed acoustician Chips Davis.

Main Room – 40 X 20 X 16 Feet

The Main Room features multiple acoustic surfaces at the flip of a panel, offering total acoustic control. Large groups such as choirs, wind and string ensembles love this room and it has also become a favorite for recording 3 dimensional audio. We have a 7 1/2 foot Yamaha grand piano which is located in the large (40x20x16) main room of the studio.

Every step of the recording process requires the right equipment to produce audiophile results. Many of the classic microphones are known for their inherent sound characteristics, and can greatly improve your studio efforts. Paradise Sound offers a large selection of these microphones to ensure your high quality recording needs are met.
